FIRST STATE

First State Bank Partnership with Bright Local

I am writing to express our sincere gratitude to First State Bank for their incredibly generous donation in support of the digital sign project at Whiteoak Junior High/High School. The commitment of $23,000 over the next five years is a significant contribution that will undoubtedly have a lasting impact on our school community. First State Bank is locally owned and operated. First State Bank has 16 locations throughout Southern Ohio and Kentucky.

This donation not only demonstrates First State Bank's commitment to education but also exemplifies their dedication to the betterment of our local schools. The digital sign project at Whiteoak JH/HS is a vital initiative, and First State Bank's support plays a crucial role in making it a reality. 'Working alongside the amazing First State Bank team has been amazing. The amount of support they have given our staff and students is truly remarkable".

On behalf of Bright Local we would like to extend our deepest appreciation to First State Bank for recognizing the importance of investing in education and for being a cornerstone in the success of this project. Your generosity will contribute to enhancing communication within our school community and creating a more dynamic and engaging environment for students, parents, and staff alike.

Once again, thank you for your commitment to the growth and development of Bright Local Schools. We are truly grateful for First State Bank's partnership and support.

Sincerely,

Jason Iles

There are some new state requirements this school year. All school districts in the state of Ohio are required to provide a state approved Suicide prevention and awareness program to all students in grades 6-12.  This is in compliance with the passing of House Bill 123, The Safety and Violence Education (SAVE) Students Act.
