Bright Local Schools will participate in the Seamless Summer Option (SSO) during the 2021-2022 school year. Under this option, all children who attend Bright Local Schools will receive a breakfast/lunch at no charge. However, students will have to pay for ala carte items, which includes extra pizza, yogurt, chips, etc. Families may pay on accounts for these items two different ways. You may send a check or money with your child to apply to their account. Parents may send one check to apply to students’ accounts even if the child attends a different school. Please specify child’s name and amount for each. Parents also have the option to use www.payschoolscentral.com for online lunch account payments. Students may charge up to $10.00 on their lunch accounts. Parents are notified by phone when their child reaches their $10.00 limit. If we do not reach the parent by phone, a letter will be sent. The cafeteria can transfer money between siblings’ accounts to cover a deficit.
Previous school year free and reduced status will be honored for the 21/22 school year! Please complete a free and reduced application only if you have no application on file or your status has changed to determine eligibility for various additional state and federal program benefits that your child/child’s school may qualify for.
