Students from Bright Elementary in grades Four through Seven were recently recognized for their outstanding accomplishments on the 2019 State AIR Test. Every student who passed one test of the AIR tests earned a Whiteoak Wildcat t-shirt. Students who passed two tests were taken on a special field trip to the Star Cinemas in Hillsboro to watch Angry Birds II.
Congratulations to all Bright Elementary students for their outstanding test scores. Bright Elementary was ranked first in the region of 12 schools in four of the nine tested areas. Test scores for Bright Elementary were as follows:
3rd grade ELA - 88% - (ranked 1st in the region)
3rd grade Math - 91% -( ranked 1st in the region)
4th grade ELA - 75%- ( ranked 3rd in the region)
4th grade Math -100% -( ranked 1st in the region)
5th grade ELA - 83% - ( ranked 3rd in the region)
5th grade Math -94% - ( ranked 1st in the region)
5th grade science -64%
6th grade ELA -60% - (ranked 5th in the region)
6th grade math 67% -( ranked 6th in the region)
Bright Elementary students and staff are to be commended for their hard effort and success on the 2019 Air Tests.
