On August 31st, the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) extended nationwide waivers for all students to receive free breakfast and lunch through Dec. 31st.
Bright Local Schools has opted to provide the free meals program to all students retroactive back to the first day of school (August 19th). Student accounts have been reimbursed for any paid lunches. Lunch accounts can be used to purchase ala-carte items or funds can be carried over to the start of the new year 2021.
