Important Announcement - Learning Packets, Food Distribution and Activities/Events

Bright Local Schools will be delivering learning packets to our district’s students homes on Wednesday morning March 18th. Our buses will be running on the elementary 2 HOUR DELAY schedule (drop off will occur between 9-10:30am) Please have someone at your child’s BUS STOP LOCATION to collect the packets. If someone is unable to be at the BUS STOP LOCATION  Wednesday morning you may pick up your child’s learning packet at your child’s school between 12-6pm on Wednesday, March 18th for grades 7-12 in the student center and elementary students at the office. Should these times not be convenient please call your child’s school and arrange a pick up time.


Those who are picking up lunches, your child’s packet will be available at your lunch distribution site.


Our lunch distribution will begin Wednesday, March 18th. Pick-up locations have been established at the store in Belfast, Bright Elementary and Whiteoak High School from 11-11:30am and at the Carmel Market 12-12:30pm every Monday, Wednesday and Friday until school resumes. Reminder all children 18 years of age and younger are eligible for the lunch program. If you are currently not enrolled in the lunch distribution please contact Debbie Robertson (Food Services Director)  to enroll.


Previously scheduled events between March 16 and April 3 such as Kindergarten Registration/Extracurricular Activities are postponed. We will communicate any changes or updates per recommended guidelines as information becomes available to the District. If you have questions please contact your child's school building.
